    Purpose

    The FFPLTC welcomes and encourages the business community, service clubs and other organizations to become sponsors of Library events, programs and services, which will benefit the community by allowing the Library to increase the level of service it provides. The Library will also actively seek out partnership opportunities with individuals and organizations in order to advance the mission and objectives of the Library

    Solicitation

    The FFPLTC will actively solicit and will encourage the business community, service clubs and other organizations to become sponsors of the Library and Library events.

    Discretion

    The Library reserves the right to refuse any sponsorship and partnership opportunity which is deemed to be inappropriate or unsuitable to the advancement of the mission and objective of the Library. The Library also reserves the exclusive right to cancel any planned or current partnership(s) that is reasonably deemed detrimental to the Library and/or to advancing the Library's mission and objectives.

    Public Service

    Sponsorships and partnerships must not compromise the public service objectives and practices of the Library or of any sponsored event, service, program or activity.

    Influence

    The sponsor/partner must have no expectation of having any impact on the policies and procedures of the Library (e.g. materials selection, room rentals, purchasing or web content) nor influence or alter the basic goals and objectives of the Library programs, including the principle of intellectual freedom and equity of access to Library programs, services, and collections.

    Endorsement

    Sponsorships and partnerships do not imply endorsement by the Library of products, services, practices or views of sponsors/partners.
